Does anyone have a description of Penelope that they might have logged and saved? Unfortunately I did not log my sessions back then, and I'm trying to do a bit of reasearch on her. Any help would be appreciated.

Warm Regards,

Whatever happend to Timothy, anyway? And note to players, this is not the same Penelope who is the secretary in the Trader's guild. I don't think anyway.

Best info on Penelope is up in the Throne City library. She has her own profile in magic (assuming its the same Penelope of course). Penelope also had a magical music box which I thought was quite interesting.

Timothy it seems likes to lay low these days. I have run across him, though not in the past couple months, in places like one of the tavern's cellar. So I guess ya just never know where he will appear next.

Penelope Fraie (trader guild secretary), Penelope the Lich (the one with the music box) and Penelope of Sicle Grove are 3 different people. All I can say is, Penelope must have been a really popular name that year.

There was apparently a player Penelope as well.

Was digging through old logs trying to find this, and saw a Penelope leading a caravan. (Unless the secretary got on the roads now and then.) Didn't ever look at her, just saw passing through a few times.

To answer the original question, no luck yet, did find a number of visits to timothy, but didn't wander in the rest of the area much.

Lets see here....I don't know too much about Penelope the Lich, but I DO remember Sickle Grove.

Sickle Grove was a rest-stop on the route from the Crossing to Riverhaven. It was just north of Dirge, right before the bridge that crossed the gorge, after the path that now leads to the fire maidens and fire cats. It was a small area, with a few rooms, filled with gardens, I believe. There was an orphanage there, run by Timmothy the empath and his wife Penelope. Penelope was a cook, and people could stop there to buy food and drink on the trek to Riverhaven.

I can't remember when exactly it happened, but one day Mibgulc the fire mage showed up and started raining fireballs down everywhere. During this time, he raised up a huge volcano as his 'lair'....right on top of Sickle Grove! Im not sure if any of the orphans made it out alive, but Timmothy did for sure. However, Penelope was trapped by the flowing lava and was lost. This kind of made Timmothy snap, and he went insane. He flinched whenever anyone touched him, he mumbled about the grove a bit, and wandered around aimlessly. He stopped using his empathic powers, as well. He ended up in the Crossing. Im not sure what happened after that. My personal opinion is that people were giving him too much stuff (since if you gave him an herb he liked he would give you something in return, like a gem. I think the gem came from someone who had given it to Timmothy before you, but hey. Also, he went nuts if you gave him a pipe, since it reminded him of Sickle Grove) and he just...left. Although I have heard talk that he went somewhere to get healed? I don't really know. Ive always wanted to try to dig Sickle Grove back out. Guess Ill have to wait till mining comes....

>Penelope the Lich

(This is all from the Old Wren's Nest Prophecy Page.)

Penelope is a lich, and thus undead. She has survived since the Imperial times, as a wandering scholar. A particular area of fascination for her has always been the Bloodworm Comet. Several years ago, Penelope visited the Crossing, and spoke with many of the Moon Mages there, enlightening them on various topics, from the Bloodworm to the Y'Shai.

She is known to have had involvement with Grell, Demosel, and Taramaine, and she has earned respect from each of them. Penelope carried a device, a music box, similar to the trapezoid Andraethu held. Her music box had powers of an unknown origin and purpose (The music box enabled the holder to hear the souls of dead children...which in turn drove that person insane. Being undead, Lady P was unaffected.), yet it was related to the destroyed souls of Andraethu.

Penelope was killed on Town Green Southeast of the Crossing by Kellior. Her friend Demosel in turn killed Kellior. The music box, thought to be lost, was found and was kept in the Mountain Elf fortress Chyolvea Tayeu'a

>Kellior

Kellior is an undead beast that clothed himself in the guise of a Paladin official and a "Hunter of Undead." He arrived at the Paladin Guild one night and roused up the Paladins to join him in slaying an undead creature lurking in the Town Green of the Crossing. He was joined by a sizable group of Paladins.

They proceeded to Town Green Southeast, where they killed the lich, Penelope. Kellior soon revealed his true nature as he stole her music box and ran off leaving chaos behind. The fortuneteller Demosel soon arrived, and pursuing Kellior to the Ilithi Gondola, she killed him.

The music box was thought to be lost, however it was found by Mountain Elves and placed in Chyvolea Tayea. When asked to return the music box they flatly refused and a task force of YShai broke in to retrieve the artifact.
