This probably dates me as to how long i've been playing this game on and off over the years but pre-web migration does anyone remember getting shook down for their debt?

I'd finally saved enough coin for whatever weapon or armor I just couldn't live without and ignored the several gold of debt I'd accumulated. When I withdrew the money from the crossing bank several burly dwarves came and relieved me of my hard earned kronar to satisfy my debt.

I know I didn't dream that so surely it's happened to someone else?

It happens to me from time to time. I once had a 7 plat debt to Qi. Heh needless to say soon as I withdrew funds from a Qi bank I was relieved of my funds.

Yeah, that happened to me a long time ago as well. I assumed it would still happen if you had enough debt, but I don't know. It happened to me in the crossing bank FWIW.

I believe it is any debt over 1 plat when that occurs.

Yep. This is how I pay my debts. I let them get to a plat then just withdraw the exact balance I owe. Banks are always easyer to get to than debt offices.
