This was a complete stranger who sat down and told a story about a goblin to my lowbie barb while I was popping lout boxes. He had puppets, props, and everything. It was a pretty funny performance and definitely a welcome break from staring at line after line of failed lockpicking messaging. Spontaneous little things like that make the game more interesting - nicely done, Twirp.
what was the story about? Could it be related in any way with the goblin shaman that recently showed up in the goblin hunting area?

A little. It was about a goblin named bluetoe and a musk hog named hufflehoof, and Bluetoe's father was a goblin shaman. Not sure if that was because of this recent shaman appearance or just the fact that he had a goblin shaman puppet he wanted to use, though.
There was also a dragon and an ogre involved, but I won't ruin the story for those who haven't heard it :P
XXXXX: Wait... you wear heavy plate, use a shield, and don't steal? Why not just roll a Paladin?
Me: Because I don't think my sudden urges to flip out and kill stuff fit the Paladin mentality very well.
