If this is in the wrong folder, I apologize up front.

At the joust tonight someone gave me one of those RPA points
but I don't know who. I have no idea what the norm is for gratitude
because I have never received one and justifiably so. (Unless
playing a hermit counts). I guess it wouldn't be proper role-playing
to thank someone in game, but to whoever gave it to me

Thank you, that was very nice

It was very possible a GM gave one to everyone attending the event. They are very common now, which is a Good Thing I think (positively reinforcing good behavior never hurts).

I once got some RPA points for making a bad joke during a GM consult.

I think I've posted this exact post twice now.

In the interests of saying something new: with the metered RPA system, they do seem to work nicely as fond pats on the head and ribbons for participation.

Since we're bringing it up...

Can we have more PIRP points? Pretty please?! Or allow us to give our own RP points remotely?

Speaking of PIRPs

I've heard of folks getting RP points from other people because they insulted someone that person doesn't like. Someone said person doesn't even know IC.

This behavior really shouldn't be rewarded with RP points and whoever does it, you know who you are, please please don't do it again. This behavior is very very jarring. Speaking of a specific incident leaving names out on purpose because I don't want it to become a debate of the incident. Someone was insulting and being very derogotory to someone they didn't even know because of others OOC comments. I whispered them and asked them to stop politely a few times after a bit of back and forth he said he got an RPA from someone because of what he said so he apparently was doing something right. I've been subject to OOC hate from people, I usually just roll with it but doesn't mean it's not annoying. And definitely shouldn't be getting RPAs

Anyway moral of the story. -Please- don't reward such blatantly ridiculously OOC behavior.

Appreciated waves

What were their OOC comments exactly?

Would really like to not bring it up on the forums, I don't want it to become a back and forth of who's right or wrong just wanted to bring up the post. If you'd like details RangerJaxDR is my IM.

I'd really love to have more pirps. With all of the player-run events going on lately, I've been trying to give out lots of PIRPs and points, but I run out almost immediately. Within days, usually. 5 points for a whole month (for the first tier of PIRP) is just...not a lot.

I give out RP points too, but if I'm not careful I'll get down to 50 and be unable to give any at all.

How about a level 4 tier and have it set for 20 points per 30 days?
