Not a new verb, but just a suggestion... if it wouldn't break things, would it be possible to only "mumble" if you type mu or more? I keep fumbling the m and n keys as I move northwards quickly without a script, and I'm not exactly trying to play a character who goes around mumbling creepily to themselves... :P

Depending on the FE you use, you might try setting "m" as an alias for something more harmless, like "look" or even "north" if you really make the mistake a lot.
