I moved this here so it didn't continue to derail the actual conversation that was going on. I do hate thread hijacking and I almost ignored your comment entirely the first time around.

>>Wiggles<<

Not sure if you're trying to demean me or just portray an affection and closeness that doesn't really exist. From the rest of your tone, I'll assume the former. That's a great way to try to claim the moral high ground.

>>It is painfully obvious from your current post and countless others that you're the type of person that feels compelled to get the last word in. <<

In general, I think you're right. But not for the reasons you think. First and foremost, I enjoy a good debate. The whole process of point and counterpoint is a lot of fun to me. Secondly... you could have ended it in the first post by saying, "Sorry, didn't mean to come off as insulting to everyone that read it that way, I was merely trying to say that I had faith in the GMs." Instead, you tried to further demonstrate why you had the authority to post in whatever tone you chose, and then went on a narcissistic tangent about how you could see the Promised Land, a vision of which would be bestowed upon all of us if we only repented and saw the light. As soon as you realized you didn't have the ammunition to bring to an actual debate, you went with the tried and true method of getting in the parting shot as you retreat in an attempt to claim victory before the other person retorts.

So... next time, before you go around claiming I don't let the subject drop. (After responding what? 2-3 times?) Why don't you actually address a single point I make instead of doing your best impression of a brick wall. I'm glad you have faith in the GMs. I actually have a lot of respect for our current batch as well. But my having respect for them doesn't mean I'm not going to look over their plans with an appraising eye and offer feedback. Z has already stated that this will be a nerf for money-making potential of Thieves that steal aggressively for profit. I don't see how you can think that everyone will find that amazing. If this change will benefit you, and you stole intermittantly before, cookies for you. But you'll find that you're not the only person that plays this game, and insulting others that play the game differently than you is not a good way to get any kind of respect.

I don't even know what thread this came from or what the previous posts were, but I really admire the artistry of this statement.
