Is there an attack that for balance and whatnot purposes, should probably come before a backstab?

with combat changes try <feint lunge>
in the combat combos Backstab (failed or not failed) is considered a thrust attack, so should be preceded by a <feint> or a <lunge> (or the new <feint lunge>) and followed up with a <jab>

Hrmmm, don't know about you but I jus' stab, stab, stab....if I start missin I stab, dodge, stab. :) But if you wanna lunge, and jab, while in the open, I guess that works too...I train evasion like a mad man...but I hate giving enemy more time to hit me when in stealth combat mode. :)

Since you can't backstab 4 leggers how ya sposed to learn it at first? Just through classes? Have 8 ranks, almost 9, from a class and have been hinding, advancing, stalking, and ambushing the rats but it just stays clear. Was learning hiding and stalking, but not BS. Any suggestions? Oh! Tried with a slicer and with a jabber, was clear both ways.
