OK Stealing is hard to start with

Best way to get first ranks is from willing assistants

It is 100% acceptable to steal from peers and comrads in Den.

But no one wants to be a anoyance or waste there and RT.

So how often is it beneficial to steal from other players?

Soim Lectures well thats a easy test....

Step ONE... Go in sleep mode with clear exp in steal.

Step TWO... Steal from one certin player.

Note: this will activate steal timer for that player but garner no Exp since you were in sleep mode.

Step THREE... Awake then continue to steal from same player and checing exp till it is no longer clear.

Note: Without doing this over and over to narrow it down to the exact second it will let you know a successful min time to learn off a singel player within 5 seconds and thats plenty close enough for me to relay to you as credible info....

OK Made novice. stole asleep then awoke and again every 5 seconds. At 1 minute 5 seconds he went to learning. SO it seems 1 minute to 1 minute 5 seconds is stealing timer on players for a novice... Probably for everyone.

Recomendation: Try to find as many friendly thieves as you can in den up to 12. And steal from each of them once then rince and repeat. You should truck along.

Recomendation: Don't bother someone over and over with stealing from them more than once per 65 seconds unless they ask you to work there perceptiom.

This concludes this test... I return you to your regularly scheduled reading....

Soim, I'm trying to do what you just said but dont seem to be learning as well as I would if I just stole from the same person over and over. Would you mind enlightening me with what learning rate you got to with this technique?

OK I will make abit more time and test some for you...

But honestly you can't say you actually believe stealing from one person is better than say 5 or 10 if 5 or 10 or in room?

A few months ago wile in TF there were scripting gatherings. places with 6 to 15 people all in same room scripting. As a small thief then I worked it well off of 5 or 6 people. Heck in room with me were Empaths who had 100+ steal who had been there 2+ months and only stole from a few players off and on.
