I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I've looked over the GM announcements in this folder (haven't really posted/read here until now that I"m working my thief in TF) but every time my thief signs in to TF, he gets "Your pretend title has been cleared."
Also, are Thieves still free to switch things around with a pretend guild whlie the titles are out? If so, when is that gonna stop and we'll be back to the "big red button" type of things? (if it does...)

Your pretend title is one that you can no longer access.** You need to change your title. Then you can clear your guild and title. Yeah, it's also a bug but you can quick fix it by just changing your pretend title.

Thanks Dart! Glad someone responded...The thing is, though that I've never chosen a pretend title. Not even set my mimic...because it's not really all that necessary in TF, and since we don't have to hide anything, I probably won't choose a mimic.
Also, I don't want to mess with anything, cos I don't want to choose a pretend guild and then not be happy with my decision. Last I heard, they were letting us switch stuff around (sort-of a preview), but I'm not sure if that's still around or what...

TITLE LIST - Same as above.
TITLE PRE|POST CHOOSE {CATEGORY} {NAME} - Chooses the appropriate name
TITLE PRE|POST|AFFILIATION OFF - Clears the selected pre|post|affiliation title field
TITLE AFFILIATION ON - Turns the affiliation title field back on
TITLE AFFILIATION CHOOSE (1, 2) - Selects the appropriate affiliation post-title
TITLE AFFILIATION CLEAR (0, 1, 2) - Clears the selected affiliation title slot
TITLE PRETEND CHOOSE {GUILD} - Chooses your pretend guild. This is permanent!
TITLE PRETEND CHOOSE {NAME} - Chooses your pretend title
TITLE PRETEND CLEAR - Clears your pretend title AND Guild!
TITLE PRE HIDE - Hides your real title from other thieves
TITLE PRE SHOW - Shows your real title to other thieves
Risek gave us assurance that the title pretend clear "Clears...Guild!" feature will not be removed without notice....even though title pretend choose still says "this is permanent!"
In other words, you'll clear your guild choice. So you can cycle through the guilds just to explore options if you want.

Ya, I saw that, and there's a really friendly Thief in DRTF that seems to sign in with a wide variety of titles, she was the one who told me that it was switchable.
My luck will be I'll pick something, and then Risek will say you've got 24hours to clear it, and it'll be when I'm gone for a day or so. Then I'll be stuck with some FluffyGuild choice and all of its wonderful titles..hehe
But I probably won't pick something, since my custom titles are so much better :-D

Yeah, it sucks...
But your name makes up for it...it's a good combo. That, and you can have your title altered to something else (hopefully our new TF Events GM will also pick up alerations..heheh)
I still want another name tag so Brady can be Marsha Brady too...Wayne Brady is hilarious, though, so it's a good choice :grin:
