Just wondering, which survival skills DON"T count towards our survival reqs. All I know is that swimming doesn't. What others? Please don't say FA.

Now now folks remember they took those out in order to give us greater flexabiliy in terms of choosing our own skills

Dear gods, I hope this was said sarcastically, otherwise we may have a thing or two to discuss.

8 out of 10?
your kidding right, you call escaping a choice its more like 8 of 9 since after like 20th-30th its prolly to hard to keep it as part of your 8 since the stuff that teach's it good is prolly to hard to hunt at those levels.
I doubt there is anyone over 20th that uses escaping as one of there 8, anyone actually use it as theres?

A scavenger troll arrives, scouring the area.

The scavenger troll exclaims, "I dinks I like da' Moongate!"

The scavenger troll bends over and picks up the Moongate. After appraising it, the troll places the Moongate in its frayed knapsack

Yeah it was supposed to be sarcastic I hate the new reqs cause they turn as all into cookie cutter Thieves save a few ranks diffrence depending on what you want as your top four and bottom two.

we are the only ones with such strict limits on what we must pick, were also the only ones who cant learn a skill (mindlock) they need whenever they want (disarm) if theres no boxes that teach available.
Were the only guild that needs a skill that has a snake eyes roll
stealing and disarm and backstab, 2 can kill you instantly with snake eyes
were the only guild with a timer on a skill we need in combat, hiding stalking
lockpicking is the only survival skill that cant be learned except you have a certain level place and happen to have a ton of those boxes

why should lockpicking a goblin box not teach at all if casting burn on a frog does, is burn (pm) a less important skill so doesnt need to be regulated while lockpicking is overpowered and everyone has too much?

why does disarm kill you 2% of the time while casting a spell never reversed and knocks you out, is it because of the above reason again?

Is hiding so overpowered that it needs a timer because everyone has 999 hiding while weapons and magic dont because they are so hard to learn?

please answer me some of these questions MR GM because im reallllly confused here

we are the only guild who has such insane limits on nearly every skill we need most can learn any skill they need anytime in any city

Because when they ease somthing for the thieves, fix or grant boons to the guild its viewed as a DETRAMENT or act of offense to the rest of the game.

My point is proven time and time again when thieves post in the thieves board about complaints or suggestions and NON-THIEVES come in and decide that there two cents on why we shouldn't get somthing or why somthing should out us.

People are scared of thieves,

Thats all there is to it.

The problem isn't our inherent risk. Its our lack of rewards we get for these risks.

I enjoy the new req's. I believe it is the greatest thing to happen to this guild. Damissak has done such great things, the new req's being implemented, especially.

It is so great.

The way thief training has been set up is very different from every other guild. Go read some back post to figure out why and stop compairing theif requirements to other guilds.
