The reality check question for this week is simple...What is your favorite talk show on TV? Being specific here because honestly I listen to little radio but music when I am driving...::grins::

Mine right now and for the past year has been Ellen...I love her humor, honesty, enthusiasm as well as the good things she does for folks. Close second would be Regis and Kelly...not that I really find it one of my favorites but it's on after the Today show and I'm usually too lazy to look for something else...

>favorite talk show

Does the Daily Show count?

If not, then either Jimmy Kimmel Live or Tonight Show with Leno

I don't watch talk shows. I get enough of everyone else's opinion and drama in my regular day-to-day. :-)

In my past life, before I had an 8-5 "career", I used to watch Oprah in the afternoons.

mine was the Tonight Show when Johnny was still the host.

Lately though talk shows seem boring. I prefer Enterprise <which is being taken off - boo!>, CSI type shows, Law & Order, and House.

The scavenger troll exclaims, "I dinks I like da' Moongate!"

The scavenger troll bends over and picks up the Moongate. After appraising it, the troll places the Moongate in its frayed knapsack

My wife loves talk shows and as such hates to watch them with me. I find too much pleasure in making fun of the people on them. Normally a talk show being on results in me having things thrown at me and told that I have a jaded view of the world. Heh.

My wife watches Dr. Phil...it's on the DVR, so we get to watch days at a time...rewinding it when she finds a cute thing and wants me to hear it. Because the computer is in the same room as the TV with the DVR, I have to listen to Dr. Phil 8 hours of the day on my day off...it's a really good show because it addresses very important things, but that guy's voice is enough to wear you out after about 2 shows.

I don't have a favorite talk show, but I do like to watch Will & Grace as well as Charmed, and a few cartoons.

Does anyone else actually laugh out loud every time they hear the words "no spin zone" in relation to Bill O'Reilly? No matter how many times I hear that, it just never gets old. (maybe even one step slightly funnier than "fair and balanced", even without the lawsuits)

I think I can't take anything seriously on Fox. Weren't they the ones who did the expose on the Moon, claiming we had never actually gone?

Not nearly as hard as everytime I happen to be flipping channels and see the Al Franklin Show advertized on the Indie Channel.
