Ok I caught a thief in my pockets.. I then accused him <see my first post> well I noticed right after I accused him he logged off..

My question is this.. The clerk said they only had a short time to send out the boys to thug the thief.. now if he logs off.. will the time run out and he can come back in unthugged?

I seem to remember logging like that after being caught at a theft is considerred mechanics abuse, and is therefore reportable. But you'll want to look policy over for yourself on that matter.

I believe you have a certain amount of time IN Game to try to escape them, logging in that instance wouldn't help him.
