Greetings,
Two changes have been made to the Chain Lightning spell, which will go live in Prime in a few minutes. One will be considered fairly negative, the other will be considered slightly positive.
The negative: Chain Lightning is now limited to four attacks per valid target per cast. This will prevent the spell from being incredibly effective against a single target without severely disrupting its area effect dominance.
The positive: I've removed the engagement limitations from the first bolt of the spell, which was interfering with its intended ability to always attack the target cast at. All subsequent bolts will still obey the CAST AREA toggle.
