Since learning is so important to the game, I made the decision to buff my mentals early. I'm happy with my training so far, but coming up on circle 11, I am wondering if I should invest in mentals again. Is there a ratio I should know for mentals and ranks that keeps yer learning moving? Right now I have 18 int, 17 disc, and 14 wisdom. The rest hovering between 10 and 13. Everything moves really well except some survivals and TM. Appreciate the help.

There is no magic ratio. More mentals are always better. The question is how much you want to balance that with your other stats, all of which are helpful in some regard.
While I've followed several philosophies to training stats over my time in game, now I'm mostly in the camp of "train the cheapest stat." The exception to this for me is training Agility over Charisma until I reach minimum roundtimes for my main weapon.

For my playing style I definitely prefer high mentals versus high physical stats. In my general experience it seems like as long as you keep your stats relatively close to "at level" critters you can get by just fine.
However, there are certain amounts you will need to have in strength and stamina just to "get by." If you want to use two-handed edge or blunts, you are probably going to need to bump up strength and stamina as high as possible as soon as possible in order to use them effectively.
As things currently stand, my discipline is my highest stat and is roughly double all my physical stats. Intelligence and Wisdom are slightly behind my discipline. I have generally ignored charisma. the one time I trained it I saw no tangible benefit.
The only place this seems to present problems is in PvP fighing. Someone with similar skills but significantly better pgysical stats will be able to wipe the floor with me. However, since there is little PvP in Plat, I don't see the point in developing my character for that type of playing style. If you are in Prime or TF I can see it being a bigger issue.

If like PvPing physicals = the goodness.
Stil, one of the great things about DR is it's versatility. Every stat is important to a Warrior Mage, so you can easily find the mix between super-strength melee machine and godly-disciplined caster that suits you most and still be relatively successful in everything.
