I am having a bit of trouble I am currently hunting water sprites but they don't teach me TM worth a damn and my highest armor is at 80 as is my shield and parry evasion is at 70 and highest weapon is at 78 and would really love to progress

Wholly crap, you got all that skill in water sprites??? I'd personally head to snowies. You'd be perfect for them. Unless you want multi, then sand sprites like Durnil said. But if you're opposed to the islands, snowies.

Oh. Was curious how you'd gotten that high in water sprites.
Get your weapons and armor up closer to TM. It will slow you down but help you immensely for the next ten to twenty circles when the gap is important.
After that, I personally hung out in leucros for a while. If you want something with more loot, go up to theren with vines and creepers, but watch out for marauders. Tingle and IP are great against them, but they're definitely a hazard.
Not sure what, if anything is in the Crossing or Shard areas, and there's nothing for you in Hib yet.

Was wondering what sort of juju you had going on in water sprite land. Try grave worms. I know there are a few hunters there currently, the gen should be very good. The center of Leth Deriel has incredible Elemental mana, might be one of the best natural mana rooms in game. A fair bit better than TGS from my experience. I believe I was seeing flaring mana with 200 ranks PP.

::agrees with Durnil::

How long ago was that, Durnil? Leucros hit pretty hard, at least now. I think he's perfect for snowies for weapons and defenses. Might be able to handle grave worms if he's really careful.

this was originaly in barb hunting sections but it fits here.
I think you can skip alot of cretures of you balance your charicter good. I always go with unarmed critters except for sand sprites, since they pay far too well to ignore. if money is no object you may prefer bloodwolves, which are almost same thing just no knives.
you SHOULD be able to go
Heggarangi Frogs. Riverhaven, Pejek Bog, to 26 ranks
Unarmed Field Goblins. Crossing west gate orchard, to 42 ranks
Grass Eels. Crossing, Orchard riverbed, to 58 ranks
Beisswurms. Stone Clan, Abandoned Mine, to 80 ranks
Sand Sprites. Ratha, First Tier, The Wreck of the Seerah, to 100 ranks
Silver Leucros. Ratha, Fourth Tier, Reshalian Trade Road., to 129 ranks
Kra'hei Hatchlings. Ratha, Sewers. to 180 ranks
Ochre la'heke. Ratha, Wreck of the Seerah. to 240 ranks.
Peccaries. M'Riss, The Altanen River. to 280 ranks.
Dobek Moruryn. Ratha, Cavern of Glass. to 360 ranks
Kra'hei's. Ratha, Ehhrsk Highway. to 400 ranks.
Some of these involve some large but doable jump. there are some inbetween critters that arnt ideal to train on for their whole spectrum, but may help for transitioning between the main creture list.
Between beisswurms and sprites you can train in NTR rocktrolls.
Between leucros and hatchlings you can train in bawdy swains.
Between peccs and dobeks you can train in forest Geni's.
Thats my hunting progression list anyways...

Sand sprites hard cap for TM at 100, at least that is what I found back when I was hunting there.
I would definitely advise staying in sandies until your defenses get into the 90s or higher. Unfortunately, Evasion caps there around 93, and it takes a full swarm to move most defenses once you hit the 90s there. If you can, maybe in the Lair, stay until you cap out MO.
Silver leucroes, out the gate on 4th tier, teach well, as long as you pay attention, and run away if they start genning in the 3-packs. When I went there after sandies, I could handle 4 with damage, but get a big gen (2 3-packs at once, which does happen) and I either would die, or get into a retreating with FS time, and FS doesn't kill them that well, so I usually ran away into a different room.
Silver leucs skin easy (about 67 to get perfect skins), but teach fairly well from scraping. Then again, I used to stay out there long enough to get 2 or 3 duffle bags full (57 loose or 2 tied bundles with 16 loose).
Again, I would strongly advise just staying in sandies for a while and working defenses.
