So I came back to DR this past Saturday after a several month hiatus JUST to test out the new Blufmor Garaen spell that was supposedly on Preview. Try as I might, I couldn't figure out how to access the spell, so I had to search out other warmages for help. Apparently, the GM's took it off preview and bumped it to full release without any kind of announcement on the boards. Is this correct or did I miss something? If the spell has been taken off preview, I would like to kindly request that there be a public notification of this in the future, as it did cause me some confusion and a bit of wasted time while trying to figure out if I just had the wrong syntax or if the spell really wasn't available. Not a huge problem... just saying I was a bit miffed since I came back to the game b/c I was sure I was gonna have a chance to preview the new spell. Anyways, just my two cents.

If the announcement was made somewhere and I just didn't see it, please let me know. I looked on the WM boards and didn't see anything. Anyways, I hope everyone has a great week! Ciao

Oh... I didn't realize it was available to Premium only. After re-reading Zeyurn's post, I see that I had mis-read it.

Does anyone know if there will be a preview for regular subscribers, too? Are previews only allowed for Premium/Platinum members from now on? I remember that Aegis of Granite was available to regular subscribers during its lengthy Preview process and I was hoping BG would be available to test out, as well.

one possible bug with blufmor ..

I was just in throne city doing the last AP quest <defense>, and tried using this spell at the appropriate time <not saying more than that in order not to reveal quest stuff>, and it didn't seem to have the desirable effect. <still passed the quest, but it would have been a bit faster had this spell "worked" at the desireable times.>

I agree it seems inaccurate. Maybe that's supposed to be a trade-off for multiple shots?

Also, the vulnerabilities to even pierce/slice/impact under the current combat system are either negligible or nearly immunity, so as it stands the damage selection is more aesthetic than anything.

IIRC, targeted spells that cannot be targeted are actually above a snap-shot and lower than full target. Closer to snap-shot, though.
