Neat, I've always had a great interest.. (though not an intimate knowledge of all it how works fully) in ball lightning, prolly due to having a small facination with Tesla's work. Now I want to make one.. thing I wonder though is... isn't metal in the microwave going to wreck the integrity of said microwave? Spose I should use someone elses :)

When I worked at ABC Warehouse we often had microwave sales, a small one could be picked up for 20 bucks if you got it close to cost. Hehe. Might be worth it for the scientific value it has to you.

You don't need to use metal--you can do it with a grape. You just need to figure out where the hot spots are in your microwave. Granted, it's not particularly stable, but it is essentially ball lightning. And, well, I can't say for sure it's any less dangerous to the microwave, but it's not using metal.

Not that I'd know.

I have to go now.

Quite. I've never done it myself, but I have seen it done. It's fascinating.

We should totally get grape lightning. Enchant grapes with lightning and throw. Like flash grenades or something. (I don't know weaponry)

Steel.

OMG! YOU HAVE <insert ability here> YOU ARE OVERPOWERED! DIE, GUILD, DIE!
