Greetings fellow Prydaens. My name is Nektol. I'm currently compiling a list of people interested in joining a new Pryde I'm trying to start up. This Pryde is open to any Prydaen who wants to meet people, learn our race's history, hunt with others, participate in race specific events (hopefully), etc. I currently have a list of 15 interested people. Goals of this Pryde include helping out the young-uns (equipment wise, socially, etc), creating a strong a social atmosphere for our race, holding events specific to Prydaens, teaching the history of our great race, and many other things. I'm open to suggestions. I will try to hold a meeting in game for all those interested soon. Safe paths, and may The Three protect you.

The mutation of the word comes from the experiances of the original player run pryde, Vreeland. We are a proud people, and it's easy to confuse which meanings are intended when both are spelled pride.

See the difference? I did it for pride, and I did it for the Pride mean two completely different things.

Oh, well. I really didn't expect it to be changed. I just think it's a little silly to spell it that way is all.

Ok. Meeting time will be 7pm Prydaen Standard Time (aka Pacific) at the Inn near the NE Gate of Crossings (2 east, 1 north, go door from empaths) in the norther-most room. Things like where we will be based will be decided at this meeting. Basically the meeting will be about how we will run the Pryde/Pride (I don't care about the spelling =p). There will be no dues, tithes, etc. But donations are always welcome. I would also like to see an "Armory" start so we have a cache of things for the new adventuring kits. One thing I need everyone's help with though is the spreading of the word. Invite any and all Prydaens you see on the street or that you know to come to this meeting (That are interested obviously).

Quite frankly, ya need to give this idea a lot of thought. I don't want to dampen your ideas, but this is something ya gotta think about.

You have two cities with new people. Crossing and Riverhaven, both of which already have Prydes. Also, you have stated that ya want to teach new kits about our ways. If you intend to do what ya say, conflict might ensue between Prydes, like what happened between the Arthe Dale, Leth and Vreeland Prydes back in the day. If you decide to go the other way, it will be hard for ya to teach kits.

Actually Ecoles I have the support of the Haven Pryde leaders. I met with them yesterday and they expressed to me their absolute support and joy of the fact that I was starting my own and offered help if i needed it. And as far as Vreeland, that's been dying/dead or else on it's last legs for a while now.. (No offense to anyone in it. But it's the truth).
I went to a meeting about 3 years ago and there was only about 5 or so people there at that time. But we all teach the same history, so I don't see any conflict.

Aye unfortunately Vreeland be in a slump, tis why i visiting other prydes ta gather wit kin and trying ta help dem out however i can. But Vreeland is home ta me an always will be, an havin another pryde around ain't gonna change me mind about dat :)
