VIGILANTE KNIGHTS

Description: This is my character's large scale organization that has been in underground operation for over five years, but now is coming to the forefront to call for new members. The groups purpose is to protect the innocent, and destroy the evil; plain and simple. Recently we have had a hoard of new members join up and I hope more still will add their skills and abilities to the cause.

Requirements: Absolutely none, save that you are a good-aligned person and are a roleplayer. Evil people will not be tolerated.

Aquiring Membership: Simply talk to my character, Jansan Korbril, e-mail me at vigilantehero@aol.com, or send me an IM at Vigilante Hero (Note: Responding to this post is not an accurate way to reach me, I may not get a chance to read it). When you contact me I will answer any questions you have about the organization and its purpose in full detail, and may ask you a few questions in turn. This is to simply make sure your intentions are in alignment with the Vigilante Knights, to answer any questions you may have, and to see what talents you have to help the organization. You will generally not be refused unless you are an evil character.
Leaving is just as simple, simply ask to not be a part anymore.

Duties: Members can be as active or as unactive as they want. More active members will have higher "positions", more responsibilty but also more fun, and there is no real "ranking" system. Showing active interest and becoming highly involved will be noticed.
The only duty that every member has is to stop injustice, shield the innocent, and take a stand as best as they can. For example, do not let high level muggers bully people around, do not let pickpockets steal from random people they don't know, do not let people murder people for no reason or because of a foolish slight. Stand up for all the innocent and weak. Stand up for justice. As to what actions that might include, that depends completely on the situation and your character's abilities and skills. As a member of this organization however, you do not walk away from the persecution of the weak and innocent; you will lay down your life if neccessary.
As for "pecking order", you do not have to do anything a "higher ranking" member asks you to do, and they will only ask not command. Unless you have a valid reason though, you should aid them; afterall isn't that why you joined the Vigilante Knights? You might be called to back up a fellow Knight in trouble, aid in settling nasty situations, and to attend meetings or gatherings (those will be few unless we have alot of active interest and then perhaps we could have meetings to discuss events and operations).
