Hi fans of Cysaegir, since this topic was getting posts I thought I'd dredge up a (possibly?) age-old question: how is this pronounced?

For some reason, ever since the EN opened I've said "Chih-(hard ch like "chat", "ih" as in "thick")-say-ger" CHI-SAY-GER. It was brought to my attention recently that I was super super wrong. I prefer to be excellent at things, so help me out.

According to Gwen/ex-SGM Lyredaen it was SIS-A-GEER.

YMMV.

Just out of pure-smart-a...edness I always call it "Kiss-a-girl". Of course, I call the race "Ale-n-toys"...

I'd been thinking it "sigh-say-gear" but actually saying it "sigh-suh-gear".

Some part of me remembers a GM working on the area calling it "kiss-uh-gear" at a Simucon broadcast. I've pronounced it that way ever since.

Likewise. My brain wants to say it was a Simu Radio video broadcast from Simucon 03 or 04? Something like that.

I thought Andraste said in the past couple of years that it was pronounced kiss-SAY-gear.

I've always said Sigh-suh-gur. I said that prior to being staff too, however, so it's not like that's some sort of official pronunciation. Mostly, I try to avoid saying it...kiss a gear has possibilities, especially if gnomes invade...

I always went with Sigh-sih-gar. I am apparently wrong.

I know some GM has said in the last 2-3 years that the official pronunciation is somewhere along these two lines. Since that announcement, I've always said KISS-ayh-geer.

I can't think of many people who WOULDN'T be pretty hot with wings.

Not like I'm biased toward the wings or anything.
