Random question -

Would it be possible to spruce up Lornon Court? Maybe a super node, garbage can and bench? Seems Liabo Plaza got all of the love...not sure if this is by design or just a random thing.

Thank you!

I don't know that it was an intentional thing in terms of a slight towards Lornon vs Liabo. But rather more of a case of that South Haven was not part of the initial release for Solhaven, as they ended at the Baron's Bridge and East Bridge and continued no further. So my guess is that when South Haven was released, Lornon Avenue was done to be the mirror of Liabo Esplanade, but in terms of a resting location Lornon Court wasn't considered because other places like South Market and the Beacon Tower were designed as such. Also worth noting that Liabo Plaza has waxed and waned in terms of a resting location, particularly in terms of its node status. Always had the bench and barrel however. And a lot of that goes from the fact it used to be the only place to teleport in/out of the city back when the wards existed.

Also from a lore perspective, Lornon Avenue's overall design plan was to give each Arkati a representation that would not pose a danger to the city (hence gardens for most, rather than full Temples where bad things would happen), as the entire reason to have the gardens in the first place was to avoid trouble from Lornon Arkati by having said places in the city to begin with. Which clearly worked exactly as planned and was an excellent move by the Mercantylers' Guild back in the day. Yep.

Going off that idea, I can see why Lornon Court was not made up in the same fashion of Liabo Plaza, because Lornon Avenue as a whole wasn't design to be a nice gathering place, but rather a means to an end. Thus no node or bench or anything along those lines. And speaking now for myself, I can say I have never looked at doing so as it never felt there was a need or desire for such in South Haven, as there were already a number of gathering/resting places. And having written all of that out now, I am not sure there would be a good IC reason for doing it currently.

Were you asking from a Liabo/Lornon balance perspective? Or was there another reason?

Certainly appreciate the response and time you took - great little history lesson there.

Somewhat from a balance perspective with Liabo (I was generally curious) and second the fact that one of my chars would enjoy a bit of a darker themed religious place to rest while getting the same benefits. Nothing of great importance, just figured I would drop a quick note.

OOOHHH, I see rp opportunities here.

Speaking to Kilthal, Raelee says, "Believe me. I am painfully aware of that."
