"Is everything prepared?" Malvernus asked, his eyes looking down at the report in his hand, and occasionally glancing up as he moved.

"All of the materials you requested have been loaded onto the ship," the Magister walking with him said, breathing hard to keep pace and speak at the same time.

Malvernus slowed his pace as they came upon his office. He lowered the parchment in his hand, and opened the door. "Excellent news. Inform the captain of the Grey Drake that I will be there within the hour. I would like to be underway as soon as is advisable after that."

"I will see to it that a runner is dispatched at once," the Magister replied with a nod of the head and then quickly withdrew.

Letting out a long exhale, Malvernus tossed the parchment on his desk, where it fell atop two other documents and covered all but a few words along their tops: "ident Report" and "phia - Status and A"

He closed his eyes for a moment, then nodded his head. His motions were brisk and with purpose as he gathered the papers and stored them away, took his swordbelt from where it hung off his chair and cinched it into place, and then took up his pale illthorn staff from where it sat against the wall.

Malvernus walked out and closed the door behind him, "Time to bring you home."

The hitch is over, you've survived
They can't wait til you come home
To never again pass the time all alone
