Malvernus returned to Solhaven this evening and finally revealed his percolating plan:

Roughly four years ago, many citizens of Solhaven visited Fash'lo'nae's library on the Inorious Plateau to rescue Magister Orphia. Orphia ventured to the Plateau previously on her own, but did not account for the difference in the passage of time in that valence compared to our own. The Vesperti denizens of the library turned Orphia into a crystalline form, lest she be reduced to dust with age. The people of Solhaven were able to bring Orphia back, but she remained imprisoned in her crystal form as a new resident of the Garden of Forbidden Knowledge.

... but now Malvernus intends to fix this, not wanting to leave a lost Magister behind. Tomorrow (8/3) he will begin plans to restore Orphia to flesh and blood, and not crystal or dust.
