1) They shake the Bind off and then attack pretty quickly.

2) One hundred ranks in each of Survival and Climbing is enough to move well.

3) I could not survive a hunt. I can't recommend the Elemental Confluence until far post cap.

Pro-Tip: Almost every weapon type can be made out of wood or modwir at the Landing weapon shop. Get that ET'd, get an e-blade, or just get used to that 0x life.

Wooden weaponry ompletely avoids the whole issue of your weapon heating up/getting too cold and is immune to lightning retribution flares. Don't aim your attacks even if ambushing from hiding. Focused MStrike if you got it.

I will usually drop a quickstrike then a focused mstrike and call it a day per elemental.

That said avoid swarms, know when to run, and stay salty.
