If you want to provide a sorcerer I will gladly test this with you.
My expectation is that if you miss with the kroderine weapon and strike with a non-kroderine off-hand then you get the full effect of sorcerers spell.

I learned something about 712 today. I always thought it was a one and done retribution effect but apparently the 712 retribution spell can be triggered over and over.
So yeah, with that understanding it makes sense that even if you hit someone / something with 712 on them using a kroderine weapon that a follow up strike with a non-kroderine weapon could still trigger the retribution effect.
