Hi everybody,

I just wanted to mention that I added this page to the wiki: https://gswiki.play.net/Boss_creatures

Which lists the locations that bosses/minibosses/packs will appear and also list the boons that they might be granted.

So.... couple things....

1. I take it this makes the mini-boss page here defunct... or at least the two tables on it: https://gswiki.play.net/Category:Mini-boss_creatures

The tables on the category page are player research and info gleaned from forum posts, but that's also the page all the critter articles point to... so maybe the tables on the new "Boss critter" page should replace the ones on the category page since that's official info.

2. For hisskra, since it lists the "reef" as their area, does this mean the boss versions of those two critters can only gen in the 3 rooms labeled "The Reef" but not in the rest of the Ruined Tower?

3. There are at least a couple critters that didn't get categorized as mini-bosses... I'll go add the two I found.

4. Awesome to finally know what all those adjectives mean!

Starchitin, the OG

A severed gnomish hand crawls in on its fingertips and makes a rude gesture before quickly decaying and rotting into dust. A gust of wind quickly scatters the dust.

I wouldn't say that anything is defunct, but this is the list of where they can be found and what boons they can have, and no - all hisskra shamans and chieftains can turn into minibosses.

I don't recall what the adjective was, because I was still in "What the hell?!?!" mode, but a pack of tigers up on Aenatumgana had a "dispel on you" action.
Which looked like it automatically did TWO realms right away, so you took damage. (Like "straight to nerves" [or maybe head] for a 2nd or 3rd rank wound and a 7-round stun.)
And then when the buddy of that one did it again, you took more damage. (Like "straight to <the other body part>" and an instant death.)

Given that characters have to pony up a bunch of 'scrip to get access to an X/day multi-realm dispel wand, and then pony up the skill ranks to activate it, that's pretty flippin' powerful.
Especially when they run in packs.
