Eruheran introduced Traelina, and she was inducted into the House and received a Sovyn pin.

Upcoming events: The Arkati Quest is this month on the 21st at 8 pm elven time. This is our recurring scavenger hunt with an Arkati theme. If you are interested in helping, let Azona know by the 19th and be ready to arrive about 30 minutes early to get set up for the Quest.

About 15 minutes before that starts, we'll have our raffle for the wisdom-enhancing Lumnis holy symbol (a golden scroll-shaped brooch). It will be set up in Town Square NorthWest. It's a persistent wisdom enhancer that also doubles as a holy symbol.

We don't have an event scheduled for next month yet. Eruheran is thinking another round of Cursed Cloves, which is our little game of chance that involves eating herb-shaped candy. Risk of injury is very high. Loss of limb is possible. High probability of sugar rush. So we'll come up with a date for that soon.

Current renovations: Only thing in the works is the Dance Hall. We still need music atmospheric message submissions. Eruheran will resend a note about doing those. Basically, the source of the music is from music boxes and instruments that will be on wall mantles. So we'll need music sounds to fill the room when the room is active. We'd really love if we got some ideas and submissions from members. You'll be rewarded if you do. Even a nice little solo from the harp in the room is acceptable. Atmospheric messages are a quick 1 or 2 statements.

Elections for officers: That will happen on the summer solstice, which is the 21st of this month. We currently have one open officer position, so we likely won’t even need elections. But that’s when they are if needed. If you are interested in being an officer and having a say of what we do around here, please send a not to the officer scroll address (Sovyn-Officers@yahoogroups.com). Or come to our officer meeting this coming Restday morning at 10AM elven time. The deadline for this is a week from today, the end of day next Volnes. If, after that passes and no one has entered, then we'll still have that one opening which can be filled at any time. You can also just find an officer if neither of the mentioned ways of contacting us work for you."

Thailmore asked to know more about the Keeper of the Ring. Is that a separate position, or an additional duty?

Eruheran said, "The Keeper of the Rings is a separate position, separate from the 6 basic ones."

Eruheran said, "That position is not an annual election."

Eruheran said, "Once it's filled by someone, that person keeps it."

Thailmore said, "Because this ring is one of my favorite things, I don't like the idea of others not being able to have one."

Speaking to Thailmore, Eruheran asked, "Are you officially throwing your name into the hat for the Keeper position?"

Thailmore said, "Or any other position that might need filling."

Chrisms or lifekeep flasks were handed out.
