Meeting minutes for Day of the Huntress, day 25 of the month Eoantos in the year 5111.

Members in Attendance: Ohnus, Anta, Nattor, Kizalia, Rasti, Mamu. Aisalt, Landrat, Kupaka, Ranpalandil on the amulet.


Anta: [Willow Hall] "Alright, getting this meeting started."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "I'm going to close the vote for meeting days in just a moment. If you have not voted, I suggest you do so now."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "We had one vote for restday, five votes for Tilamaires, two votes for Feastday and four votes for Abstain."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "By that count, our new meeting day will now become Tilamaires."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "We've had a request from Phever to reconsider the time as well."
Aisalt [Willow Hall]: "Earlier or later?"
Anta [Willow Hall]: "The request was earlier."
Aisalt[Willow Hall]: "Any time is actually good for me."
Anta [Willow Hall]: "I can set up another vote and see what folks think."
Anta [Willow Hall]: "Moving on, We are going to have a Solstice party for our members and guests."
Anta [Willow Hall]: "It will be on Tilamaires, the 13th day of Eorgaen."
Anta [Willow Hall]: "In lieu of our weekly meeting. I'd like to encourage all of our members to attend. It should be a great time."
Anta [Willow Hall]: "It will be at the Hall correct?"
Anta [Willow Hall]: "If our Solstice tent is set up, I'd like to have it there."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Also a reminder, our siegery tournament will be on the 10th of Eorgaen."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Other news, Cheas will no longer be our auditor. I'd like to thank her for all of her hard work and hope she continues to be an active part of this hall."
Ohnus: [Willow Hall] "Ayup parliament has been formed and has agreed that a suggestion of a general re-write be considered."
Ohnus: [Willow Hall] "It is to be a general re-write any all suggestions will be heard."
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "Change fer a specific purpose be good, changes fer its own sake be nay so good."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Anyhow, while ohnus sorts out what exactly he wishes parliament to discuss, I made some suggestions on the handbook amendments that parliament had agreed upon previously."
(After discussion later with Ohnus) Anta says, "Parliament will be working on rewriting the handbooks and releasing the handbooks."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "My main issue was with article IV, as it unknowingly went against direct orders from Alyias. As we do not have the power to allow such changes, I moved that we drop the amendment."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Ooc: the one about allowing surrogates to use officer's accounts in non official capacity."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "IV. Concerning the issue of player ownership and surrogate guidance of officers, Parliament unanimously recommends we adopt the following policy:"
Anta: [Willow Hall] "1. Officers, when acting in an official capacity at a meeting or Hall gathering, should only be guided by their players and not by a surrogate even if that surrogate is a member or officer of the Hall."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "2. Officers, however, may be played by a surrogate when not displaying their title and are attending to other tasks, such as moving from one realm to another, artisan activities, hunting support, etc..."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "That was the proposal by parliament during it's last session, headed by Landrat"
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Per Alyias; "Let me remind everyone on this list that, as an officer, you are held to a higher standard, and that your office is a privilege, not a right. This means that you are not to engage in behaviors that in any way flirt with POLICY, or that can bring bad light to the CHE as a whole. These can include, but are certainly not limited to: verbally abusing staff or other players, lying to staff in any attempt to "get your way", getting involved in PvP, sharing your account information, gross and disturbing OOC behavior, and the like. If you do engage in such activities, and it reaches my ears, you will be removed as an officer, period." Given this, we do not have the authority to make these changes. If account info is shared, you will be removed as an officer."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "That states it plainly I second for the removal."
Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Yeah, I agree, we should strike that."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Rasti, did you have anything to report?"
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "'I also concur, i."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "I concur with the striking out of Policy IV."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "And Alyias put some silvers back in our account anyone know why?"
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Yes! He refunded us back a bit and didn't charge us for our raffles because there was a mess up with them."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "I will provide a full report at the next meeting."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Anyone else have something to report?"
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Just a question."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "What is our standing when barnom comes to talk with us."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Barnom has not contacted myself, has he contacted anyone else?"
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Is contacting all houses."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "More importantly, what is all of your opinion on the going ons?"
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "I can tells him an answer since i do speak with him."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Well honestly, it's not up to me to speak for all of our members."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "As a hall, I don't feel we need to choose an alliance or a side in political strife."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Well his point is clear either you are with him or against.. being against he might close our quarters."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "I can't see our Hall pledging allegiance to a certain individual's government."
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "Wit our oath we swears allegiance to de Landin and de lands we roam, nuffin more should be required."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "I agree with landrat."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "I agree with Landrat, we do not swear allegiance to politicians."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Do i have permission to tells him that is asked?"
Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "I agree with Landrat as well."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "Should he force a closure, we do have our annexes."
Nattor: [Willow Hall] "Barnom will die eventually anyway."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "And we reside outside the gates of the Landing."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "If need be we can meet in the Modwir tree once more."
Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Well I hope we are far enough out of the Landing to keep us out of that mess."
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "'our Hall be outside de gates, he should has no authority der."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Unfortantly we are not."
Nattor: [Willow Hall] "Actually we are."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "The missive I saw said and surrounding lands."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "True, our hall lies within the jurisdiction of the landing."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Same as the drakes of vanguard."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "There is a sign right outside our trail that says it is anyhow."
Nattor: [Willow Hall] "Either way Barnom is garbage."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "I myself do not get involved in Landing politics so I really have no clue whether this Barnom is a good or bad guy."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "Maybe we should decide how we stand then... either for or against him."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "I'd suggest we stick with neutral and leave it at that."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Do we really wish to declare ourselves?"
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "I say no."
Mamu: [Willow Hall] "Screw Barnom."
Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "How about just not for I he takes that at being against that is his problem."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "We don't need to tell him how we stand but I htink we ought to sort it out."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Protecting the innocents is all we need to say."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "I agree Kupaka."
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "Again I stress our oath says we stand for Landin, nay any indivdual. period."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "It might never come to pass that we need to declare."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "But should we need to declare ourselves what will we say?"
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "If he want a public announcement of for or against i say the same... protecting the innocents."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "I'm with what Landrat said."
Nattor: [Willow Hall] "Actually Landrat is right."
Nattor: [Willow Hall] "I think."
Aisalt: [Willow Hall] "And Kupaka."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "I suggest that only in the case that we are approached by Barnum and asked specifically for our allegiance, we simply recite our oath and state that is the only thing we give our allegiance to."
Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Aye, sounds like we are all in agreement."
Kupaka: [Willow Hall] "Agreed."
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "Hear hear my queen. I concur."
Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "I agree Anta."
Rasti: [Willow Hall] "I guess I best figure out who the innocents are."
Landrat: [Willow Hall] "At dis point I nay tinks it be as important who had ideas, as what we are lookin to change."
Anta: [Willow Hall] "Then I adjourn this meeting. First in!"
