What would a respectful young person call an elder? IRL my kids were taught to call everyone, even familiar adults Mr. and Miss - as in Mr. Tim is my dad's friend and his wife is Mrs. Karla. Sir designates a knight and I think Mr. is too OOG.

What do you think?

Master, Mistress, Lord, Lady, Goodman, Goodwife, sir/ma'am in the lower case. I think any of those work.

I would do terrible, terrible things for Nixxi to have the pre-title "Miss".
