I was presented with this question during one of my adventures so i wanted to do some research on it and see what people thought:
So what is a giggle?

What about giants? Can a giant man giggle? Well, Pavarotti was a 6 and 1/2 foot tall tenor. (Tall man higher pitched regester then a baritone or bass) That's only maybe about a 1/2 to a foot shorter then the average giant. Is it possible that a giant will not necessarily have a very deep voice? Is a giggle limited to a higher pitched sound?

It says here giants are "sometimes" over 7 Ft tall. Does that mean they are sometimes under 7 ft tall? But that doesn't seem out of reach for a normal human does it? Are they really that different?

And what is a chortle? Is it the same as a giggle?

A giant male can do whatever the player envisions his character as doing. You want to play a giggling giant? Ok. You want to play a stoic giant? Ok. Be prepared for others' responses to your choices as appropriate to the town, situation, history, clan, background, etc. Decide how important you want the view of other characters to be on your character.
