So we'd pretty much settled on the July weekend from the poll and then I heard back from the hotel that this might not be possible due to a scheduling conflict. I'm hoping to hear back from them in the next couple of days to see what they say, but we may have to go with one of the August dates which were both tied for second place in the poll.

It's never easy picking a date and no matter when we choose, the date will always be better for some and worse for others, but we'll do our best to pick the best date we can.

I'm also pushing very hard to be able to use the same space we did last year, but that may not be possible either. Last year we got the space for free because of the Rams group bumping us out of our meeting space, but the hotel had to pay Westport for us to use the space and they're not keen on paying that again. I have no idea how much it cost them, so I've asked for curiosity sake to see if it's within our budget. If not, we may be back to the old arrangement, which has worked quite well for us for many years, so there should be no issues with it.
