Ok, so I heard back from Westport and unfortunately we have a problem.

In the last few days, the Rams have apparently swooped in and booked the Plaza like they did last year. Everything already scheduled for the Plaza is being moved to the Chalet and they're not allowing any bookings at the Plaza while the team is there. The convention team there is currently scrambling trying to find places to fit everyone.

Unlike last year, the hotel management is not willing to foot the bill to rent out the space we had last year and if we wanted to rent it out (assuming Westport would even allow it...they weren't thrilled with it last year), we're looking at at least $6,000, which is way over our budget. That, combined with some of the concerns everyone brought up about the room not being open all the time pretty much make this a non-option, understandably.

So we currently have two options and I've made a new poll to see which one of the two works best for everyone. I know the Doubletree isn't the best situation for us, but they will offer shuttles to get us to Westport and back. (I will say that last year, I stayed at the renovated Chalet and it's pretty nice, so please consider it as a viable choice.)
