I've been thinking of having a show added to my giantkin warrior's morning star for quite a while, but I absolutely suck at coming up with good ones. So I was wondering if some of the creative types here would like to give it a go...
I don't really have an over-all theme for my warrior's look, but it would be nice if the morning star at least looked like it would be used by the same person as her pavis, which came to me with an awesome show (I'll put that show below). She's also named the morning star "Basher", which I def want to be indicated in the show... and it has a few zests which were added at the last Spitfire (yea, I've had it a LONG time) that prolly won't do much to inspire, but I'll put them below just in case:
Zests:
>tap my mor
You drum your fingers on the handle of your vultite morning-star.
>wave my mor
You swing a dusk blue vultite morning-star in a low, lazy arc close to the ground.
>pull my mor
You stretch the length of a dusk blue vultite morning-star between your hands, letting the spiked star itself swing from your right fist.
>push my mor
You lower your vultite morning-star to rest your arm for a moment.
Pavis's show:
>l my pav
Though lopsided and makeshift in appearance, much thought appears to have gone into the creation of this pavis. Several steel pot lids have been flattened and fused together to make the main body of the shield, while various fork tines have been melted into the surface to create crude but deadly spikes. Various handles, most of them from pots, have been cobbled into a sturdy grip on the interior of the shield. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph. A faint aura of holy light radiates from the pavis.
Thanks in advance!

Something I came up with, hopefully it can at least serve as a stepping board for you:
>The ball of this morning star is mostly fashioned in vultite, with spikes of uniform length. A section of the ball is composed of steel haphazardly fused into the vultite portion, with salvaged items, ranging from nails, bits of fork tines and even broken scissor blades serving as the spikes. The chain of the weapon is composed of well-made vultite links mixed with some crude steel links of different sizes. The name “Basher” has been carved on the steel portion of the ball in harsh, angular letters.
507 characters total. There is a name alter function available that some GMs can do (had it done via Sadie in the past), where you can use the read verb on a named weapon and have the name come up. Even though I indicated the name in the show per your request, I think that you can consider leaving "Basher" off on a name alter, it would give you more characters to describe the weapon in more detail, or just have a briefer, cleaner show description. From my own experience, you can have a weapon with both a show and name alter.

Thanks for the idea, it's definitely helpful. Might tinker with a couple of the details, but it'll certainly pair well with the pavis like that :)
