I can't seem to find the original post, so I'm just going to put it here.

Thanks to a very diligent bugger of foraged items. The issue with the snips not acknowledging certain foraged items has come to an end. Now the only items it won't do are berries, twigs, sticks, but it does do the following:

bark gets turned into "a curl of (type) (bark)"
bulbs get turned into "a dried (bulb-type) bead"

All rift, rotting, and mushroom-based forageables are excluded.
