The released staff listing is remote contractors specific to GemStone IV for the most part. So someone that works at Simutronics (other than Solomon) are not listed.

We had a GM run of DMC for players to watch. Maybe when we release Duskruin Arena, we can do something fun with staff there.

Yeah, I figured this was likely. Sorry for the rant and all. I suppose if I want to have that discussion, I'm in the right topic but the wrong subtopic and thread.
One relevant question I have for this thread, seeing the breakdown and a rough sense of the numbers of people assigned to different areas, is which areas seem to be more or less sufficiently staffed, and which areas have a want for more hires?
As a player it was my feeling that more game developers would seem desirable (and then I got on my tangent about user-end software etc developers which aren't related). Estild plays the de facto role of paladin guru, and sorcerers don't have a guru ATM either as I recall. Which is, you know, both the classes I mainly play. But of course I ask because of interest for an inside word.
I suspect it's one of these things where, in any area that is wanting for more GMs, the main barrier is finding suitable candidates. Lord knows my present project at my job spent probably hundreds of thousands of dollars in research funding, but I'm the one stuck with doing the documentation and trouble shooting because, somehow in all that we couldn't find a person to hire who was capable of the task.
>An officer of the Sorcerer Guild arrives and glances around. "Ah, there you are, Vathon!" he says in a slightly agitated tone. "I have come to formally declare that your membership privileges have been revoked."

I believe the idea of profession gurus has been dropped. people work where they're needed |
This is true for the most part. We're well aware of the Sorcerer concerns and agree with a lot of them, but it's a matter of priority. Paladins were in much worse shape than Sorcerers before their recent update. Many of the Development (Magic, Combat & Technical Systems) GMs read multiple profession folders, but we usually refrain from posting unless we have very specific information that we're ready to release.

Well, we'll both deny everything... but Wyrom and I had a lovechild. Duskruin Arena was the aftermath.

Well technically, Duskruin's planning was before CiS! So they have been testing to see how open you all are to dying. Thank you for the data points!

Definitely true. Paladins might not have been in bad shape, but the circle did need a little love, and it was well done!
