The training path post-cap can be fleshed out and hopped up by allowing the Physical Skills they train for to give an offset of Phantom CM ranks. The way I suggest this works is having an assignment selection process by the post-cap adventurer so they can decide how the PCM's will manifest-- 1. They become AS Bonus 2. They become ranks for CM skill rank training 3. They slightly increase the effectiveness of currently known CM skills.

So say you get 10 ranks of Physical Skills and are awarded a PCM. A prompt for you after the Skill Manager is exited gives you the option to assign the point. Untraining it would be normal migration.

I don't feel more AS to the post-cap adventurer is imbalancing because the game has become incredibly challenging. More AS is not going to make it all that much easier to survive. There are lots of critters well over 100 which appear in the lands. This would be a magical boost to help reach to some elevated limits since AS was designed. It's also a reward worth going for and this is a long grind post-cap to find juicy ways to spend these well-earned TP's.

It also affords the opportunity to give Phantom CM maneuvers only available to 100+ adventurers. PCM's would be designed for extremely experienced hunters which would give them a sense of elitism as well as a capability beyond those who commonly play.

Examples:

Phantom Combat Maneuver that gives refined knowledge of a particular body area. Those times when you miss with an ambush not only go down but the next strike you make on the same critter within X amount of time will have a very high chance of hitting what you aim for.

A PCM that makes use of all your training and battle hardiness with a projection of physical concentration and activation of your natural strengths. For 60 seconds, at a cost of -1 Stamina per 2 seconds your body gets a 10% boost per rank of redux.

A PCM that helps you spot treasure! "Using your carefully trained eye, you hone in on a tiny flash just under the pile of remains to your fresh kill. Likely would have missed this one before! You find a blue sapphire!"

A PCM that gives you +2 Ranks of general CM ranks whenever it applies to countering critter/adventurer attempts of a maneuver attack on you.

A PCM that gives +1 HP recovery per pulse up to 3 ranks.

A PCM gives an automatic counterattack just before entering a state of being stunned. The counterattack will be stance dependent to determine how powerful the counterattack will be and how successful the odds are slanted in your favor. The counterattack will be a maneuver using whatever is in the hands to try to stun or imbalance the critter to give you time for recovery from any stun.

A PCM that gives a +1% chance per rank for evading magical based CM's against them.

A PCM that gives +1 Bonus to a Stat Bonus for every 10 ranks of PCM up to +5 total for any combined use.

A PCM that drastically raises the physical defenses DS for a moment while removing AS in an equal amount up to 20 seconds. Imagine being almost impenetrable for that long-- +1354 DS please!
