Groups are weird. If I am in a group, and I leave the room, and come back, there's a possibility I will still be in the group. Then if the group leader moves out of the room, it takes me with them. If someone ELSE was in the group, they might also get dragged along.
It gets weirder. If I am standing in a room, and someone whose group I WAS in comes into the room, it picks me up again. Suppose we head into the inn near the tables, and I, not realizing that I'm in this group (because I had just typed the commands to go into the inn), try to go to a table. I am not the group's leader, and yet my entire group goes to the table with me.
This happened today. Unfortunately it was with a player that I am not supposed to interact with. It had the potential to get really ugly, and in fact the player did swear at the people at the table when they were confused by what was going on.
Can someone please look at this? It's really disconcerting to get dragged off, or drag people off, when you don't think you're even in a group any more. Thanks!
Yesterday I had three people in my group and one left and went to the commons right before I typed DISBAND. When I ran through the commons on my way out of town a minute later, they were snatched up and dragged along with me. I'm not often in groups, so I don't know how long this behavior has been going on, but it seems to have started recently.

I think everybody being taken to the table when a non leader goes to a table is a new bug. I don't recall having a problem with it until recently but I had a similar experience to this last week. Said goodbye, transferred the group lead, headed to a table to nap AFK and dragged the group with me.
