Hi, it would be great if we could have NOD PATIENT added. Polite and slow flavors don't quite get the point across.

1st: You nod politely.
3rd: Person nods politely.
1st-target: You nod politely at [target].
3rd-target: Person nods politely to [target].

Thanks a bunch!

What's the difference between a patient nod and a regular nod? Just curious.

Usually you can tell from context that it is a patient nod. That would be the nod I give when I'm listening to one of my children tell a story for the fifteenth time in excruciating detail. For me, it's slow and with eye contact with a specific look on my face while I'm doing it. That look isn't there for just nodding or even when I'm "slowly" nodding, which is typically when I'm trying to understand something. Patience has a look to it.

I would like to have a patient nod, myself.

The speed, mood, and/or implication of demeanor. Not unlike the other options available in the list.

Hey there! I just wanted to let you know, I've tried nod imperceptible and it isn't working, it's also not listed in the NOD HELP options.

Thank you!

You nod almost imperceptibly.

I am familiar with NOD HELP--but as I said, it's not listed.

Usage:
NOD [style] [target]

Where [style] is one of the following:
CURT SLOW GREET SLIGHT EMPHATIC ENCOURAGE
FIRM AGREE QUICK SOMBER GRACIOUS AGGRESSIVE
GLUM BRIEF SLEEP APPROVE GRATEFUL THOUGHTFUL
GRIM BRISK TERSE FERVENT REASSURE PERFUNCTORY
MEEK EAGER VAGUE KNOWING SYMPATHY APPRECIATIVE
ONCE FAINT ABSENT PATIENT VIGOROUS ENTHUSIASTIC
SAGE GRAVE POLITE RESPECT IMPATIENT SATISFACTION
RHYTHM CHEERFUL RELUCTANT UNDERSTANDING
