"Your superior positioning makes your quick strike much less taxing."
This line seems to be the result from when you pay less stamina for a use of QuickStrike while in the Striking Asp Stance. Well and good.
However, I know precisely nothing about this stance... and still I see this messaging on average about every other day. (I didn't realize that it was triggered off QStrike, I thought it was something to do with MStrike. Since the command line is to 'qstrike mstrike', I understand my own confusion.)
SHOULD this be a message that I see? (Since my stance is not Striking Asp Stance at all.)
Since I am seeing it... does that mean that some times, my QStrikes are going off at less of a stamina cost?
And if so: Why?
.
Thanks!

If you're not using the stance, you shouldn't be seeing that message it also shouldn't be affecting your "qstrike mstrike" stamina cost at all, even if you're using the stance. If you see that message and you're not using the stance, (SPELL ACTIVE will show it), can you submit a bug the next time that it pops up, please?

Sure thing! I don't even KNOW the stance, so that'll be easy... :)
I don't always check 'stam' both before and after MStrike, but I will try to remember to do so in order to see if my cost is reduced at all.
(It doesn't help that +Tier from UAC can force me into a longer or shorter attack, varying the cost of my QStrikes potentially quite a bit.)
.
.
While I'm talking about 'checking available points'...
Is there any ONE place where ALL of the expendable-use things are listed, and their recoveries & 'specials' [like spell-ups per day], including Enhancives, in one quick-and-easy useful grid?
- Health & Spirit & Stamina are both available in the 'health' command, but that's 10 lines tall and doesn't mention mana and may have LONG wording for wounds & scars, nor does it tell recovery rate of any of them.
- Mana tells you current & max & recovery including Enhancives to either/both, and has 'special' [X/day spell-up], but doesn't mention the other three.
- Stamina tells you current & max & recovery, but doesn't tell you any of the other three.
I don't know of one, and I keep having to wind up with "lots of lines of crap" before I get to the bottom one that tells me, OH, I can spell-up!
.
Time for a new verb?
Really I'd just be looking for a five-line (six with tall title) chart:
With appropriate MonsterBolds for Enhancives, exactly as things are done now.
Somehow indicate--[*] or + or some other marking?--WHICH ONE of 'on' or 'off' a node you are.
Call the new command "cons[umables]", since everything there can be destroyed on command (parasitic weapons, CoL powers, spells & others, and physical actions).
(Where the 'timing' column tells me how long ago the last health/exp pulse was on those lines, the fact that a 'pulse' IS available at my level of skill on the mana line, and whether or not my muscles are in fatigue / also the time since I last had a stamina pulse.)
I figure you're not willing to release the "time until" to avoid going back to DOS days with a stopwatch to get to the Node, but you should be okay with telling us the "time since".
.
Add another one for "cooldown" to show JUST the active cooldowns (CMans, ShieldMans, and MStrike are the ones I care about specifically)--without the big long page/full screen of spells' durations--and I'll be a happy dwarf, and buy at least one of us a drink. (Hint: it'll be ME. See also, dwarf.)

I actually had two back-to-back this evening when I got home.
(The recovery time in between the two MStrikes was eaten up by me scrolling up to highlight/copy the first one... which turned out to be wasted time, since there was a second one there to include, too. :)
