Hi all...

I have a simple macro for putting gems in my pouch:
"open my pouch\r put \? in my pouch\r close my pouch\r"

But it has stopped working.

I get the following...

"You open a golden spidersilk gem pouch.
I could not find what you were referring to.
You close a golden spidersilk gem pouch."

It's like I'm typing the wrong name of the gem, but I'm not, and I've even tried typing the full description (i.e... green garnet).

Still, it does not work.

The only recent change... I was able to get an alteration from the seamstress on a clothing item (my leggings). But could/why would that affect the script?

Thanks for any tips.

Try taking out the spaces after your returns:

\xopen my pouch\rput \? in my pouch\rclose my pouch\r

Thank you very much!

Works now! Not even going to guess or wonder what happened that it did work before (with a space), but not now.

Thank you gain!

The space issue may be SF related. I seem to recall they worked either way in the wizard (back when I used it).

I'm having the same problem, and only with put commands. The weird thing is, that they've worked for years and suddenly today they don't work, even though they go to the story window correctly and if I hand type exactly the same thing it works just fine.

Weird. I'll try taking the spaces out and see if it helps.

There appears to be an issue with certain "spaced verbs" that causes them to go unrecognized by the game. This should be fixed soon, but in the short term, it can be fixed by omitting the spaces in front of the verb.
