We had a productive meeting last night! Here's a quick rundown of what's going on with LDI
Fall Recruitment Drive and Raffle - We're planning on setting up a tent and inviting guests and members to a little meet and greet. We'll be offering food, drink, and some nice raffles! Best of all, we'll be opening recruitment up to anyone who is looking to lend a hand to aiding the Landing in what is gearing up to be a very long, cold winter.
Lectures! Our lectures series will be continuing, we had great success with our Undead lecture a few months ago with guest speaker Geijon.
Patrols - With the recent assault on the town by Vathors, the suspicious appearance of globules around town and even the stray ogre or two in the tunnels, we are going to be increasing patrols of both the Landing streets and the tunnels beneath it. Everyone is welcome to join us, times will be posted soon.
Orphanage News - We have lots of great things planned for the Orphanage in the coming months! Many MHOs and a few CHEs have shown interest in working with LDI to create events and we're very excited about what's in the works!
Escort Nights: We'll be setting up 1-2 nights a week where LDI members (and guests) can get together and escort various delegates, merchants and scholars to and from the Landing Gates. With the increased bandit activity in the surrounding environs, we feel it is imperative that we keep the channels of commerce clear and open.

We've kind of moved meetings around because nearly everyone in LDI has other meetings throughout the week.
I think we're homing in on Thursdays at 8pm EST.

The LDI site has gotten some much needed updating! Check the Militia Archive for lots of official posts consolidated from the forums regarding the various storyline events that have affected Landing since the summoners came to town. I started it when I came back several months ago with the intentions of writing something every couple of days. Then Summer started, kids were out of school and I was in, and intentions....eh.
