Hey all. Just a few updates on things.

Firstly, we just had a 3 day long event from monday to wednesday. If you could make it, awesome, if not, I'm sorry you didn't. Since I put in the reports for them I know who made it ::stares:: .. anyway, it was fun, albeit nothing like I had expected it to go. The Masquerade Ball was something more like a "red" ball what with the spikethorns and the implosion and the missing faces. Good times.

December I would like to do, around the middle of the month, a new event.. The working title is "Exile Day".. an annual day of rememberance, similar to new years, only to commemorate the exile.. who we were before that, who we became after that, who we are today, and where do we want to go from here? Both individually and as a people. If anyone has a better name suggestion please let me know.

January I would like to hold a funeral. I will be taking the scant funeral-related information gleaned from one of the scary story documents posted to the officials and Silvean's wonderful document on funerals to try and go from there. I invite everyone to attend, Faendryl or no, and to please wear their best. Also, please no one touch the corpse.

February the Enclave will have officially been open for four years. As such I would like to redo our very first event, a dinner party. In that event a group of us spent a few days rolling and re-rolling dark elven characters, saving the ration kits, and sorting baskets of food... I seriously still have like 6 baskets of food and now that I realize it's 4 years that worries me. Anyway, instead of doing that(or in combination with that) We will be utilizing the Enclave's building which has a very nice Dining Hall and assortment of foods.

After that.. well, in progress. If you've got anything you'd like to see done, please suggest it and we will endeavor to do it.

Also, starting sometime in the near future RSN. We will be having regular monthly events. These should be in the second half of the month, since the meetings are in the first half of the month. The regular events will be pretty informal and, based on the talks we have had so far, will cycle somewhat. These are more geared towards hanging out and having fun; getting to know your fellow Faendryl. If you'd like to bring someone else along, you're welcome to also. Some of the ideas put forward included dart games, group hunts, art nights(where everyone has paper and draws an object or model or something and we compare), and things along those lines. Aeavenne, our newest officer, agreed to work on these(though at the time she thought it was a one off! mwah ha ha), so if you've got suggestions throw them out to me or her. (Also, if you hadn't heard, Aeavenne is our newest officer, congrats to her).


Meetings will continue to be on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:30. Recently I've had someone inquire about possibly doing alternative days instead, so that people who cannot make tuesdays at 8:30 can make them. If you can't make that time/day of week, please put forward a few alternative date/times that you can do.
