Posting an edit I put up on Krakiipedia just a bit ago. It will be at the bottom of this post. I've got a few questions that I'd like to see if we know the answers to.

First, for points to silvers calculation -- bonus points convert at a ratio of 1 to 16.66667 silver. However, badges convert at a ratio of 1 to 25 silver. I suspect this is because badges get a discount to the points cost, but that isn't translated over to the silvers cost. Bug, or working as intended?

Second - I believe there are eight levels of charges a bard can detect. Those levels are in the clip from Krakii below. Are there any others?

Third - General consensus seems to be that 'a lot of charges' = 20 charges, and each recharge session purchased from the Treasure Master contains 10 charges. Any reference available that could be linked (for Krakii)?

Finally - if 'a lot of charges' = 20 charges, and if it takes multiple charges to move from 'more charges than a (?: giantman|dwarf) to 'a huge number of charges' and even more multiple charges to 'almost innumerable', then it appears that we have the potential to charge some select devices to / above 80 charges. Anyone have a 80 plus charge capable ranger rod that I can have for a bit of research?

I suspect that between that research and some careful tracking of charges as we dip through thresholds, we can pin out the ranges for each of the thresholds.

Bring out the bards!

Enhancive items can be recharged at the Adventurer's Guild through the Rewards system. The rules governing the cost of recharging items with various enhancement capabilities are very complex. However, the Treasure Master will allow you to see the cost of recharging any item, and you have to confirm you want to spend bounty points to recharge your item at that cost. There is also a tradition during the week of the New Year to allow silvers to take the place of bounty points. As a general rule, the cost of recharging an item in silvers is approximately 17x the cost in bounty points. So an item costing 3,600 bounty points to recharge will cost 60,000 silver to recharge. Notes are accepted by the Treasure Masters.

Charges are randomly drained from enhancive devices. Items which are 'crumbly' will disintegrate when the last charge is used from the device. Persistent items will simply stop providing the enhancive bonus until recharged. See the Enhancive Item Saved Post below for information from the GMs about how this process works.

Bards can determine approximately how many charges are left in a device. There are eight known levels that can be detected. There may be a 'single charge' level, and / or a level between 'couple' and 'quite a few', but those levels from 'quite a few' to 'almost innumerable' are commonly believed to be complete and in order. The levels are:

- a couple of charges
- quite a few charges
- a fair number of charges
- a lot of charges
- more charges than a giantman | dwarf could count
- a huge number of charges
- almost innumerable charges

For the categories beyond 'a couple', there is not yet a firm understanding of how many charges there actually are. It is commonly believed that 'a lot' of charges is 20 charges. And it is also commonly believed that requesting a device be recharged adds 10 charges to your device.
