I guess it has probably been requested before, but it would be nice if foraged items could be put into jars for bounties.
Perhaps it's just a technical limitation in the code somewhere related to determining if the herb was bundled, etc. I also realize that jars were made for alchemy and not hoarding / selling bounty items.
This would be a very nice feature if it was possible, particularly for higher-end hunting grounds with unique herbs, like the Rift and the Confluence.

Could be, but for the Confluence or Rift I think it doesn't matter since their herbs are unique (and so far as I know bounties completed in any realm Confluence all count the same).
Another strange thing I noticed (now that I just got a shop) is that some herbs stack as identical, and some do not stack in the shop. Oddly, so far the ones that can go in jars cannot be stacked in a shop, but I only have two types of Confluence herbs at this moment.
I used a BOOST BOUNTY to confirm they are both accepted for bounties this way, and the answer is yes. Why crystalline stalk is not identical to itself but an engorged bulb is I'm unsure...

I should have. I just threw away like 13 I'd put into a jar yesterday.
Another fun one I found yesterday is (trying to) put the bulbs and blossoms into the same container.

Interesting! I wonder what would result from other combinations of confluence herbs.

Flameleaves explode if you cast fire spells at them.
Luminescent blossoms give you a long stun if you eat them.
Crystalline stalks disintegrate if you handle them to much.
Earthen roots are just damn heavy, as far as I can tell.

Speaking to you, Ceyrin asks, "Do you spontaneously come back to life when you die?"
Speaking to you, Ceyrin says, "Because I do."
You say, "Yes. I have a condition called Annoraxia.""

You're missing engorged bulbs. Aside from that, there's a couple other special properties. They were just fun little things to make.

Just found this one today. This must by why they are each unique for player shops. Grrr...

This thread was actually more interesting than the one I had in the Confluence about herbs so...
Anyway I found out that if you hold a flameleaf with an injured hand, you get poisoned. Heh. On gswiki now.
