I think it depends on the circumstances. The extra BP and exp bonus for escorts into and out of mule made it worth the effort for me. I also sometimes run them between vaalor and illistim, because it is so quick.

I think it depends on the circumstances. The extra BP and exp bonus for escorts into and out of mule made it worth the effort for me. I also sometimes run them between vaalor and illistim, because it is so quick.

Actually, there are one or two escort runs that aren't too bad; landing to Solhaven is the easiest, I think (for a high level character. My cleric got the title "travel guide" if I recall (something like 500 successes to 40 failures), but it's still a bit of a pain in the butt. I started doing escorts with her because she didn't want to leave the Landing (she was dating someone who was lower level and didn't want to migrate ... don't ask), and escorts were the only way she could learn while staying there once she outgrew the Bowels.
On the other hand, I'd hate to try and run an escort with a square.
