Gaps in the trees allow the prevailing winds to blow briskly through this area, carrying with them a sound that can best be described as a frenzied drumbeat. If it is indeed the sound of a drum, the player is obviously agitated. You also see a war troll that appears dead, a great brown bear that appears dead, a war troll that appears dead, an elven traveller, a lion-carved wooden tower and a gap in the trees.
Obvious paths: northeast, southeast, northwest

He roots through an elven traveller's pockets and takes some silver coins. With an evil grin, he pulls out a belt pouch and stashes away his ill-gotten gain.
Personally I generally avoid bandit and escort tasks. Now that I have a paladin I can probably manage bandits without a problem, but as a pure I found the maneuvers quite annoying. And there aren't escort tasks in RR, which is mostly where I hang out.
Still, if you turn in bounties fried and immediately ask for a new one, even if you don't like it, it should be 15 minutes before you are down to fried again, and can get another. Toss in a few of the vouchers (I bought 100 more than a year ago and still have lots left) and you shouldn't have any problem getting a string of acceptable bounties for your weekly Gift, including if you toss away the gems you don't have in your locker, all escorts, all bandits, and all creature tasks you don't like.
