I'm sure there are others, but I have never ONCE found a radiant crimson mote of essence or radiant crimson essence dust.
my suggestion? have things like this be more common in warcamp boxes found in the warchest, rather than the common gems I usually see in there. surely they'd be about the same value.
I also don't think there are enough recipes for sorcerers late in general alchemy that involve CHANNELING; everything I'm seeing requires me to think on the amulet asking for ingredients. which I've been doing for the better part of a week, and have only got 7 malachite stones to show for it and ZERO of the radiant crimson stuff. this is not even enough to get me HALFWAY through one "recipes that use channelling" task

I understand your pain, I have all those stones that you need. I am normally on Teras but I am easy to find, just ask around.
Now here is my pain, I have asked on amulet in every town in Elanthia for essence of water. I have had no takers even though offering double what the local alchemist will. My greatest rub is the fact that I should find essence of water locally and there was some huge oversight in where water dropped. I hunt in Nelemar, "the water temple", but essence of water doesn't drop from either water elementals or greater water elementals. That just strikes me as really wrong.
as far as hard to find components for wizard guild, once I found mine, I have continued saving them. I have jars of siren hairs, malachite stones and a few others. They are free for alchemists, just send me a message or find me in game. If you happen to have essence of water, please save for me.
