What factors are calculated toward the successful infusing of scrolls with Arcane spells on them? I assume spells native to Wizard circle would account for MnE ranks and spells native to minor spiritual circles would account toward MnS ranks, but what about non-native spells?

I locked a scroll with 1713 Death Cloud on it which was very surprising. I have 80 ranks of MnE and can infuse 919 no problem.

How is the mana cost per infusion calculated since most of us don't train in Mental Mana Control? If we're expected to train in this skill, are cost recalculations going to be reconsidered?

Only Sorcerer spell ranks count as a bonus for non-native spells. This will also be true for mental spells once they are released.

Virilneus is correct that it was a bug. It was not counting your Minor Elemental spell ranks. This should now be resolved.

Elemental and Spirit Mana Control affect all spells equally. You do not need to train in Mental Mana Control, nor would it benefit you in attempting to reduce the mana cost.

Does the scroll infusion documentation need a re-write? It doesn't seem to indicate what was mentioned above. I was under the assumption that my MnE ranks were helping me with any spell from the 400s, 500s, 900s, 1000s. Likewise, I thought my MnS ranks helped with all spells from 100s, 200s, 300s, 600s, 1100s, 1600s.

So my MnS ranks only help with working 100s spells and not all spiritual sphere spells?

No, your understanding is correct. My statement is in response to the Arcane circle only. Specifically, when you try to charge a scroll with Mystic Focus (1711, non-native), only your Sorcerer spell ranks will help. When you try to charge a scroll with Spirit Guard (1712, native to the Minor Spiritual circle), your Minor Spiritual and Sorcerer spell ranks will help.

I do wish it was easier to find these scrolls. For those of a low level that hunt alone, it seems impossible to come across one.
