Back in GS3 we had various ways to increase our rate of experience absorption. These were pretty much all done away with due to being rather unbalancing (understanably). But what if we bring back it back in the arcane circle? That way no particular profession or society would overly benefit. Items containing it could be made rare enough so that the overall impact on game balance is marginal. Yet I think it'd be very enjoyable to find one, on the rare occasion.
Make the spell double your absorption while on a node (more like meditating used to be, rather than XXX, though that could work too). Alternatively, for group fun, it could be cast an a whole area (like 418). Maybe with a duration of 10m for self-cast, 3m for room-cast.
Just for kicks, the item that casts the spell could be a smooth stone.

Or make it a level 20+ spell. Or make it very hard to infuse (I think there are plenty of spells that are particularly hard to infuse, regardless of spell level). Lots of ways to limit its power.
