Shouldn't the spell in the Moonstone Cube be added to the Arcane Circle?
...it might also be a minor mental spell.

We considered adding it, but decided against it. First, not every item with spell-like effects are in the Arcane Circle (e.g. gold rings, those encumbrance feathers from the AdvG). If we did that, then we wouldn't have any room for new spells in the future, which we definitely wanted. Second, Martial Prowess (the solid moonstone cube "spell") is simply a square's response to a heavy quartz orb and the Arcane Circle is primarily meant for pures. Third, there isn't a spell slot open at the level we'd like Martial Prowess to sit.

Boo. I had kinda onsidered at least parts of it to be neutral. If this is the case, then why did the small statue spell get added to the circle? After all, it was just the square's answer to alkars. I liked the idea of a more neutral circle accessible to all. I guess that's not the general idea.
